Notification
The Gran Teatre del Liceu would like to inform you that owing to technical problems, the first 15 minutes of the cinema broadcast of the opera entitled The Queen of Spades on Thursday 1 July was affected by a superimposition of audio tracks.
From the very start, our technicians employed every means at their disposal to solve it, and the opera broadcast, lasting over four hours, did not undergo any other incident once the initial problem had been solved.
The Gran Teatre del Liceu greatly regrets this situation and would like to apologise to all of our spectators. We are working with our international distributor and all the participating cinemas to assess satisfactory compensation for all the members of the public affected.
The Gran Teatre del Liceu is one of the pioneering theatres in satellite broadcasts and our attention to excellence has been proven time after time. We are working hard so that problems such as this do not occur again.
Thank you for your understanding.
