The operas that the Liceu will be staging over the 2011-2012 Season offer a wide and varied view of the genre, including repertoire pieces loved by an audience that has proved its loyalty over many years, and pieces from other much more recent, yet often unknown eras, which put our opera house on the modern footing demanded by its prestige.
