- Opera in the Foyer -

A Projective Opera in Seven Planes.

Libretto by Lisa Randall, based on her book Warped Passages. Music by Hèctor Parra. World premiere scheduled to take place on 15 June 2009 at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. First performance in Spain.

In Warped Passages, her best-selling book on science, Lisa Randall succeeded in persuading a very wide readership to make an effort to comprehend the ultimate nature of the universe of which they are a part.

Parra strives to create new relationships between the human voice and musical instruments by means of a form of electronics that is more organic, more vivid, and more sensitive to the musician, while contributing to leading-edge research into computer-assisted musical composition and creation.
