The LICEU undertakes to manage the information of its users and customers with full guarantees and to comply with national and European requirements governing the collection and use of the personal data of its users.

Users have free and open access to the website. In the case of products or services requiring payment, the LICEU shall inform the users of the specific conditions applicable to them.

In general, access to the information and applications on this website does not require prior user registration. However, users may request, by filling in the corresponding forms, the receipt of information and advertising from the LICEU (a newsletter, for example). The users guarantee that all the information and personal data provided in the forms will be their own and true and factual. Users shall be solely liable for any false or inaccurate statements made by them and for any damage that the use of this information may cause the LICEU or third parties. Similarly, users undertake to notify the LICEU of any changes that may occur in relation to the information and personal data provided.

The LICEU reserves the right to interrupt access to its website at any time and without prior notice, whether for reasons of security, control, maintenance, power supply failures or any other cause. Such interruptions may be temporary or permanent, in which case users shall be notified. Therefore, the LICEU does not guarantee the reliability, availability or continuity of its web page, in the event that the aforementioned causes arise, and therefore, the LICEU may not be held liable in this respect at any time.

Protection of personal data

The personal data received from users will be handled confidentially, in compliance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999, of 13 December, on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter, the "LOPD") and Royal Decree 1720/2007, of 21 December, at all times, approving the Regulation Implementing the LOPD and, from 25 May 2018, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC, and any other legislation in force or which may be enacted in the future in regard to the subject.

The LICEU undertakes to handle personal data in accordance with the instructions of the users who have provided the personal data, not to apply or use it for any other purpose and not to assign it, even for their safekeeping, to other persons, except with the prior and express consent of the party concerned. Likewise, the LICEU undertakes to adopt and implement the appropriate technical and organisational measures to ensure a level of security that prevents their alteration, loss, unauthorised processing or access, taking into account the state of the art, the nature of the data stored and the risks to which they are exposed, in accordance with the provisions of Article 32 of the RGPD.

Applicable law and jurisdiction

This Legal Notice is subject to the current applicable Spanish legislation. For the resolution of any dispute or litigation that may arise from access to this website, users and the LICEU undertake to submit to the courts of Barcelona, expressly waiving any other jurisdiction.
