ANA BELEN break foru years of silence releasing new algum: A los hombres que amé

"Thanks to the generosity of 14 men with at some point in my life shared songs, laughts, uncertainties, hopes, joys and wisdom of one who believes in his work above everything." Ana Belen words printed in the booklet of the album reflect the breath that drives her new job: A los hombres que amé, in which the artist sings 14 songs of his favorite composers.

Sing, play and recreate. It's what makes Ana Belen with 14 songs flagship, offering a new vision, a different emotion launched by a single voice in the Spanish scene and wonderful work in the production and arrangements that put San Jose David issues that have come right in the chapter on the classics in their own world, personal and recognizable.

These are the songs of A los hombres que amé recorded with musicians from posh Madrid.

Among them, Ovidio Lopez (guitar), Javier Saiz (bass), Ángel Crespo (drums), David San José (production, arrangements, piano, keyboards), Amado Zulueta (percussion), Santi Ibarretxe (flute), Antonio Ximenez (trumpet , flugelhorn), Bob Sands (tenor sax), Norman Hogue (trombone), Andreas Prittwitz (piccolo) and Javier Casado (accordion). Together with Ana Belen, have all contributed to create an album that gives us a new reading of important songs, height, treated with great respect but providing different views involving a voice and a heart that transforms without changing the soul that saw birth.

Ana Belén is always marked by great songs that now are naturally continued in A los Hombres que Amé, because, as Ana Belén writes in the booklet of the album, "listening to this work hits me the picture and the words of Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire 'I have always depended on the kindness of strangers'. I say: I have always depended on the generosity of my men. "
