Free cloakroom service
Available in both lobbies, Rambla and Sant Pau.
The following items should be left in the cloakroom: umbrellas, bags and backpacks, cameras, audio and video equipment. Items left in the cloakrooms may be inspected for security reasons.
Refreshment services
On performance days, refreshment services are available in the Mirror Room, the Foyer, and on the 4th floor.
Hours: from one hour before the performance starts until the end of the last intermission.
Espai Liceu café, open from Monday to Saturday, 9.30 am to 8 pm, and on performance days until the end of the first intermission. On Sundays when a performance takes place, open from one hour before the beginning of the show until the end of the first intermission.
Tables may be booked during the intermissions in the Foyer and the Espai Liceu.
Refreshments may be served in boxes with anterooms.

Medical service
The theatre has a permanent medical service available to the public during all performances. It is located on the stalls level, opposite box 28.
Programmes
Programmes for operas and dance performances, published in Catalan and Spanish, are on sale in both lobbies and in the Espai Liceu. Opera programmes include a plot synopsis in English and French. Programmes for concerts, recitals and shows for children are free of charge.

A flyer giving the day's cast is available free of charge at each opera or ballet performance.
Pre-show information sessions
Forty-five minutes before each opera performance, an information session in Catalan, open to all members of the audience, is held in the Foyer.![]()
Ticket exchange and return service for subscribers only
Subscription tickets can be exchanged for a different performance of the same show, subject to availability. Subscribers can also return tickets to certain shows and performances (as designated by the Liceu) and recover 95% of the official subscription price if they are sold. Requests to exchange or return tickets can be made up to 24 h before the start of the relevant performance if it is on a Saturday or a weekday (except Monday), up to 48 h in advance if it is on a Sunday, and up to 72 h in advance if it is on a Monday.

Accessibility
Physically handicapped persons
The Liceu offers specially adapted seats for the physically handicapped at all shows.
Audio-description service
The audio-description service helps sight-impaired persons to enjoy cultural events. It provides an additional narration and, in the case of operas, an introduction as well, by providing such key visual information as body language, facial expression, scenery, actions and props.
A limited number of seats equipped with an audio-description system for the sight-impaired are available for the following performances this season:

Supertitling service
Supertitles in Catalan are projected onto a screen above the stage at opera performances, both dramatized and concert version, and at some recitals and concerts.![]()
Subtitling service
Most seats at the Liceu are equipped with a personalized subtitling system in Catalan, Spanish and English. The subtitles are in Catalan and Spanish only at operas in concert version, concerts and recitals. The same system provides video images in seats with limited visibility.
