American soprano Georgia Jarman has a repertory ranging from bel canto to contemporary opera. She studied in Boston and New York and is a frequent performer at leading American and European opera houses.
She has distinguished herself in new operas, notably two works by George Benjamin, Written on Skin and Lessons in Love and Violence, which she has sung in London, Lyon and Hamburg. Her latest engagements also include Musetta (La bohème) in London and Zurich and Helena (A Midsummer Night’s Dream) in Philadelphia.
This will be her Liceu debut.
