These tours begin amid the superb elegance of the old Renaissance-style Lobby. The next stop is the Auditorium, an exact replica of the original horseshoe-shaped hall designed by the architect Miquel Garriga i Roca in 1847. It can seat almost 2,300 and all the operas, concerts, recitals and dance performances in the main season are held here.

Then comes the Mirror Hall, which for many years was the favourite gathering spot of the Catalan upper middle classes. Nowadays a wide variety of activities are organized here and are attended by people from all walks of life.

The tour concludes in the Foyer, a multi-purpose venue located below the stalls area and of the same size. If offers seating room for 400 and standing room for 1000. An audience briefing is held here prior to each opera performance and latecomers can watch the show on a screen until the interval.
