One of today's leading tenors

Since he made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu with a selection of pieces from Gounod's Faust, Piotr Beczala, the world famous lyric tenor from Poland, has further enhanced his reputation with a varied repertory that is ideally suited to his voice. Beczala triumphed at the Liceu in Werther and Un ballo in maschera and this season is to take part in Luisa Miller. This however is the first time he has offered a concert to the accompaniment of the Liceu's own orchestra.
