Enthusiastic applause greeted the Franco-Armenian mezzosoprano Abrahamyan on her Liceu debut last season as Isabella (L’italiana in Algeri). She has sung in numerous opera houses including those of Paris, Zurich, Atlanta, Moscow, Hamburg, Rome and Vienna, and at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro. Her wide repertory of operas includes Carmen, Falstaff, Un ballo in maschera, Eugene Onegin, Norma, Nabucco, Samson et Dalila, Semiramide, La donna del lago, L’italiana in Algeri, L’incoronazione di Poppea, Giulio Cesare, Alcina, Rinaldo, The Queen of Spades and Orphée et Eurydice.
