In 2005, he won the Operalia singing competition promoted by Plácido Domingo, and since then, he has sung in theaters around the world. 

His repertoire includes roles such as Jacopo Foscari (I due Foscari), Gabriele Adorno (Simon Boccanegra), Pinkerton (Madama Butterfly), Rodolfo (Luisa Miller), Duke of Mantua (Rigoletto), Alfredo (La Traviata), Hoffmann (Les Contes d'Hoffmann), Werther, and Romeo (Roméo et Juliette), among others. 

He has also portrayed Des Grieux (Manon) at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico, performed in Rigoletto at La Monnaie in Brussels, sang La Traviata at the Theater an der Wien, Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, and LA Opera in Los Angeles, Carmen at the Staatsoper in Hamburg, and La Bohème in Macerata, San Francisco, and Hamburg. 

He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2016/17 season with Werther, returning with Luisa Miller (2018/19) and La Traviata and Les Contes d'Hoffmann (2020/21).
