He won the Manuel Ausensi Singing Competition in Barcelona, in addition to the award for Best Zarzuela Singer at Plácido Domingo's Operalia competition. He secured the second prize at the international Tenor Viñas singing competition, where he also won the prize for the best interpreter of Donizetti and the award for the best Spanish singer. 

The Spanish Lyrical Association honored him with the Best Male Voice of the Year award in 2015. His repertoire includes titles such as Don Pasquale, L’elisir d’amore, Anna Bolena, Lucia di Lammermoor, Il matrimonio segreto, La sonnambula, Die Zauberflöte, Don Giovanni, Macbeth, La traviata, Rigoletto, Falstaff, Gianni Schicchi, La bohème, Marina, Doña Francisquita, Los diamantes de la corona, Galanteos en Venecia, La tempestad, Don Gil de Alcalá, La vida breve, El rey que rabió, Cançó d’amor i de guerra, etc. 

He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu during the 1999/2000 season with Lucia di Lammermoor and has returned for La traviata (2001/02), Doña Francisquita (2009/10), Falstaff (2010/11), as well as participating in various concerts and recitals.
