Carles Cremades

Born in Barcelona, Carlos Cremades studied music at the Conservatori Superior de Música del Liceu, obtaining a degree as a senior instrumentalist (accordion player). As an instrumentalist, he was part of the Chamber Orchestra of Accordions of Barcelona (L’OCAB, 1991-1997). 

As a tenor, he has been guided by Chris Merritt and Jaume Aragall. In his repertoire, we find roles such as Alfredo (La Traviata), Conte Almaviva (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), Ernesto (Don Pasquale), Faust, Fenton (Falstaff), Il Duca di Mantova (Rigoletto), Ismaele (Nabucco), Rodolfo (La Bohème), Don Carlo, Cassio (Otello), Edmondo (Manon Lescaut), Don José (Carmen), or Tamino (Die Zauberflöte). 

Since 2018, he has collaborated with the Choir of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, of which he is currently a member. He debuted at the Gran Teatre del Liceu during the 2011/12 season with Jo, Dalí, and has returned with Così FUN tutte (2012/13 and 2013/14) and with Eugene Onegin and Turandot (2023/24).
