Christian Senn

Born in Chile, Christian Senn has lived in Italy since his youth. He trained at the Academy for young singers at Teatro alla Scala, where he studied with Leyla Gencer, Luigi Alva, and Vincenzo Manno. 

He has collaborated with prominent conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Riccardo Chailly, Antonio Pappano, Michele Spotti, Maurizio Benini, Maurizio Barbacini, Carlo Rizzi, Giovanni Antonini, Ottavio Dantone, Fabio Biondi, Roberto Rizzi Brignoli, David Parry, Rinaldo Alessandrini, and Ton Koopman, among others, performing at renowned theaters and venues worldwide, including La Scala in Milan, Theater an der Wien, Wiener Konzerthaus, Théâtre du Châtelet and Théâtre des Champs-Elysées in Paris, Palau de la Música in Valencia, Teatro Regio Torino, Teatro del Maggio Musicale, La Fenice, and the Teatro Municipal de Santiago. 

Among his recent works are Bach's St. Matthew Passion with Alessandro De Marchi at both Theater Basel and the Stresa Festival, and Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with Sakari Oramo and the Wiener Symphoniker at the Konzerthaus in Vienna. 

He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 2015/16 season with Serse.
