Florian Sempey


The French baritone Florian Sempey began his piano and singing studies at the conservatory of Libourne and completed them at the Bordeaux conservatory. He now visits the Liceu for the first time after appearing in the opera houses of various cities including Paris, London and Rome, and at the Rossini Festival in Pesaro. Among the roles in his wide repertory are Count Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Valentin (Faust), Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor), Doctor Falke (Die Fledermaus), Schaunard (La bohème) and Papageno (Die Zauberflöte).
