Luis López Navarro

Born in Málaga, he earned a degree in Music from the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga. 

He began his studies with Francisco Heredia and Manuel Carra and received lessons from Iñaki Fresán, Carlos Álvarez, Carlos Chausson, Brindley Sherratt, Ana Luisa Chova, Sonia Prina, and Charles dos Santos. Lynne Kurzeknabe introduced him to baroque music. In 2014, he was awarded in the Marbella Crea Young Talent Competition. 

repertoire includes roles such as Commendatore and Masetto (Don Giovanni), Oroveso (Norma), Angelotti (Tosca), Siripo and Padre Esteban (Tabaré), Bartolo (Le nozze di Figaro), Don Fernando (Fidelio), Sprecher (Die Zauberflöte), Señor Alberto (Marina), Padre prior (La dolorosa), Gran Sacerdote (La corte de Faraón), and Don Juan (El barberillo de Lavapiés). 

Recent engagements include Don Carlo and Viva la Mamma at the Teatro Real in Madrid, Fidelio in Málaga, Un ballo in maschera in Seville and Valladolid, Die Zauberflöte in Córdoba and Oviedo, among others.

He made his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu with Gianni Schicchi (Il trittico, 2022/23).
