Born in Manresa, she studied singing and piano, furthering her training in Italy and France. She has been conducted by maestros such as Lorin Maazel, Ottavio Dantone, Jesús López-Cobos, Víctor Pablo Pérez, and Juanjo Mena, among others. She has participated in concerts, festivals, and operas in the Netherlands, Germany, Greece, Italy, Andorra, France, Monaco, Russia, Japan, Colombia, and Spain. She has sung roles in titles such as Giulio Cesare, La Cenerentola, Il barbiere di Siviglia, L'italiana in Algeri, Il turco in Italia, Andrea Chénier, Il viaggio a Reims, Così fan tutte, Les contes d'Hoffmann, Otello, Roméo et Juliette, Manon, Eugene Onegin, Parsifal, Die Walküre, Ariadne auf Naxos, and Elektra

She made her debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in the 1998/99 season with Parsifal and has returned many times, most recently with Lucia di Lammermoor (2006/07), Elektra (2007/08), L'Atlàntida (2013/14), Káťa Kabanová (2018/19), Otello (2020/21), Pikovaia dama (2021/22), Il trittico (2022/23), and Eugene Onegin (2023/24).
