He was a member of the Ensemble of the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich at the beginning of his career before joining the Wiener Staatsoper for two seasons.
With a varied repertoire, the artist is a regular guest at all the major opera houses, such as the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Staatsoper Berlin, Stuttgart Opera, Cologne Opera, Leipzig Opera, La Monnaie in Brussels, Covent Garden in London, Theater an der Wien, Frankfurt Opera, and Hamburg State Opera. Concerts and recitals have taken the artist to Carnegie Hall in New York, regularly to the Music Chamber Society of New York, the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, BOZAR in Brussels, the Musikverein in Vienna, the Berlin Philharmonie, and festivals in Salzburg, Baden-Baden, Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Music@Menlo, and California.
He makes his debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu.
