Divina Seguros and the Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu have signed an agreement to promote access to culture and support talent through programmes such as Liceu Apropa, LiceuAprèn, LiceUnder35 and Òh!pera. The partnership reinforces both organisations’ commitment to inclusion, creativity and cultural participation.
Divina Seguros has signed a collaboration agreement with the Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu with the aim of fostering and promoting culture, and more specifically opera, throughout this year.
This agreement establishes a framework for cooperation through which the insurer will contribute to the development of programmes that promote the arts in all their forms (opera, dance and concerts) in order, on the one hand, to increase access to culture for different social groups and, on the other, to support talent.
Among these initiatives are Liceu Apropa, a programme aimed at people in vulnerable situations that promotes universal access to culture; LiceuAprèn, a global educational programme with activities for families and schools; LiceUnder35, designed to bring opera closer to people under 35; and Òh!pera, in which three short-format operas are created by young creative teams selected from different design schools. These are performed in a single evening.
“This agreement with the Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu reinforces our commitment to culture as a driver of development and as a tool for building a more prepared society with greater critical thinking and the ability to analyse its surroundings. Opera is, of all live performing arts, the most complete and complex; for this reason we have joined the Liceu, one of the world’s most prestigious theatres, to enhance its accessibility to society as a whole,” says Armando Nieto, President of Divina Seguros, who adds: “For us, it is a priority to associate our brand with initiatives like this, which convey through music positive values such as inclusion, respect, creativity and sensitivity”.
“The partnership with Divina Seguros represents an important boost for the programmes we develop at the Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu with the aim of making culture more accessible, participatory and close to the public. Initiatives such as Liceu Apropa, LiceuAprèn, LiceUnder35 and Òh!pera reflect our commitment to creating opportunities for new audiences and creators. Sharing this path with an organisation that values inclusion, creativity and social commitment allows us to expand the impact of our work,” says Salvador Alemany, President of the Fundació del Gran Teatre del Liceu.
