Teresa Iervolino

Born in Bracciano (Rome), Teresa Iervolino was awarded third prize in the Opera Città di Ravello International Competition and won the 63rd edition of the European Community Competition for young singers. She made her debut at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona in May 2012 in Stravinsky’s Pulcinella, followed by the roles of Maddalena in Rigoletto, Isabella in L’Italiana in Algeri, Maffio Orsini in Lucrezia Borgia, the title role in Tancredi, Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Cornelia in Giulio Cesare or Angelina in Rossini’s La Cenerentola.

She has sung in houses such as Teatro dell’Opera in Rome, Opéra de Paris,  Châtelet Theatre in Paris and Teatro Regio in Turin, among others, and worked with a number of renowned conductors such as Roberto Abbado, Alberto Zedda, Jean-Christophe Spinosi, Stefano Montanari and Ivor Bolton.

Will made her debut at the Liceu.
