A journey to the heart of flamenco, where eight women embody a legacy that endures and is continually renewed
On 5 October, the Gran Teatre del Liceu will host the first edition of Nit per Sentir, a new cultural event promoted by Grup Som Via and produced by Clippers Music, created with the aim of transforming art into a space for connection, emotion and wellbeing.
For this first edition, we are honoured to welcome Sara Baras, who will present her new show, Infinita, in Catalonia for the very first time.
"Infinita is born from an identity, born from a legacy, born from time, from a land that gives to us and teaches us, from a heartbeat that never stops.
Eight women's perspectives, eight women looking back at us, and a single pulse representing Andalusia, beating to the rhythm of flamenco. A dance that does not explain, that does not preach; a woman's dance with the sole intention of sharing, of enjoying together an essence, a legacy that is passed on and endures.
Infinita springs from the silence that listens, from the voice that does not shout, from respect and from the journey we trace, offering an open view of the world, where the more one gives, the more fully one lives.
Infinita does not describe; it dreams."
